Have you seen my Shoes ?

June 16, 2015      Leave a Comment

When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called out to him from the bush, “Moses, Moses!”

“Here I am,” he answered.

“Do not come closer,” He said. “Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place, where you are standing, is holy ground.” -Exodus 3:3-5.

So tshoeshis post I wrote in May but never hit send!!

Hi! How have yall been? I’ve missed yall. It’s summer and so many things have happened, I don’t even know where to start. I would be writing forever here and would continue!
Let’s start by saying “GOD IS GOOD“, and all the time “GOD IS GOOD“.

Sooo,

  • School is out and my teachers decided to pass me. Haha. Thank God.
  • I finished my first semester of guitar classes at an awesome Worship school with an amazing Dream Coach.
  • I got a new job, wasn’t really looking …then God set it all up and “BAMMMM” got handed a job. It’s great, different but cool! Bringing me closer to my destiny day by day.
  • Took my best friend Veronica to church for the first time after 3 years of asking! GLOOORRYY!

ANYWAYSSS…..
So I’ve gotten so many questions about shoes since I’ve posted Shoe Sale on my FB…
Well, That was just a reminder for me to write this blog inspired by last weekend and most importantly last weekend’s message by John Gray.

As you read the Bible verse I shared you saw that historical moment when God marks his ground and wants Moses to remove his shoes.

God wants my shoes, he wants your shoes.
Last Sunday there was a breakthrough in my life, after having these thoughts of guilt and condemnation for something I had done, Jesus sweetly became my comforter. I’ve come to realize that it is okay to have moments like this, the world is a cruel place, we make choices we aren’t always proud of, and we are simply human. So in those moments instead of running to a person or a thing, I choose and chose to run to God. I chose to lift my head and run to Him and let him tell me what to do.

In that moment I realized,  that what I am going through has a purpose. A purpose of breaking a chain off of somebody I love and know God has amazing plans for her. I realized what she’s going through is teaching us a lesson, not because God is after us and trying to punish us, but because God loves her and can’t let her slip away.

“The process of God is for the purpose of God”- John Gray.

 “WHERE FACTS END, FAITH BEGINS….”

With everything that is happening around me right now, I needed to let go of all I know, because only then He can answer the questions that I ask myself at night.

So here it goes, GOD WANTS MY SHOES.

Just like that, God wants my shoes just as he told Moses to remove his as he came closer to hear from God.

Moses is an answer to a prayer, more than a prayer but a cry from his people to be delivered from captivity.

In the same way, I am an answer to a prayer for a set date. I don’t have to worry what is it that I will be doing, but instead, I need to worry about be prepared for that.

Is my life inducive of where He is taking me.

Most of the time people get this idea in their mind that they were made just the way they were supposed to be made and if there’s something negative about them  the world just has to deal with it… in a way that makes sense, but did you know God has something incredible in store and you would never know if your flaw was that you weren’t a dreamer. Does this make sense? (It does in my head lol).

So on May 17, 2015 Sunday night at my home church, I traded in my worn out shoes and decided to let God replace them. God is good.

I hope that by now you get what I am talking about. This message will always be in my heart.

Jesus loves you !!! <3

xoxo-

Natalie

I have many many reasons why to celebrate my birthday. I simply cannot take it for granted that I am here.Alive. On this Earth. I thank God that His hedge of protection has surrounded me since I was in my mother’s womb. The biggest gift today is eternal life in Jesus Christ. Because of that I stand today as who I am, I know my worth, and I know my purpose. All because of Him. He is who I want to be like. Jesus Christ, thank you for one more year of life . May I live to love you deeper each day and know you more and more. Till eternity. I’ll keep shining for you! ✨✨✨💛💛
