This Thanksgiving has been quite unusual from all others.
Mostly because it’s just my mommy and I. We decided to lay low and just enjoy each others company which was well needed.
In the midst of that I began to realize how I had so many things to be grateful for. This season in my life has really been life changing. It is evident that the Lord is doing things in my life that in years I would have never dreamed of. I am so thankful for all of them, but I sit still and think about my past I see how the Lord has been working through it all. He gets the GLORY. I know this isn’t the end or even beginning, it is only but a glimpse of the things to come. In all circumstances my heart has chosen to be content, to know that whether good or bad God is in it.”In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”-1 Thessalonians 5:18.
There has been countless nights when tears, prayers, quite dark rooms, and a broken heart have been surrendered to Jesus. In all those moments, I knew that it would not end there. I knew that the hurt I was feeling would not last forever. As I’ve mentioned in the last 4 months my life has truly transformed, my vision and passion for Jesus has cleared. It is as He himself took off a veil from my eyes allowing my eyes to be open to His will, to what moves His heart, it is as if my heart has synced to His timing.
Although getting to this place in my life has not been easy, the Lord is faithful and so true. He has always been for me.
My prayer for you is that your heart would become steady, that all your needs would be met according to God’s will. That you would become bold enough to realize that this life is not always going to be a happy one, we will endure trails, but be encouraged that through those all God is right next to you . You have to STAND FIRM . Know that God is on your side, open your eyes , be receptive to see more than what you can see, may your spiritual eyes be open, may you see the goodness of our Father in everything. May His peace fill your life and may you pick up your sword and GO.
—“LORD, You will establish peace for us, Since You have also performed for us all our works”, Isaiah 26:12.
So for everything I am grateful.
For my family, my friends, and this season.
In the recent weeks I heard this quote from my professor and it’s just to good not share.
“God will knock you down, so that you look up”-Dr.Woods
